Help for the asador
Brasa Lista plans your asado or mangal: the cuts on the grill, the ember timeline, guests, kilos, the shopping list, the vaquita and your log. If something isn't working or you're missing a cut, tell us.
Planning the asado
How do I change the time we sit down to eat?
On the Asado screen tap the sliders button at the top. Pick the date and time; the whole fire timeline moves with it.
How do I move a cut to another heat zone?
Drag the cut sideways on the grill, or open the cut and choose Strong, Medium or Gentle. With VoiceOver, use the actions rotor on the cut ("Move to…").
Why does a cut show a warning triangle?
It sits on hotter or gentler heat than it likes. Long cooks like vacío over strong heat burn outside before the middle is done. The cooking time adjusts to the zone either way.
Wood, charcoal or mixed — what changes?
The lead time before the embers are ready: about 75 minutes for wood, 35 for charcoal and 50 for mixed. With wood the timeline also reminds you to feed the brasero.
On the day
What does "I'm lighting it now" do?
It moves every step so that the fire starts this minute, and ticks off the setup step. Use "Keep the planned times" if you lit on schedule.
I'm not getting alerts.
Turn on "Alerts on this phone" in fire mode and allow notifications. If you declined earlier, go to iOS Settings → Brasa Lista → Notifications. Alerts are local, so they work offline.
We're running late.
In fire mode tap +5′, +10′ or +15′. Every remaining step and alert shifts with it.
Guests, kilos and the vaquita
How are the kilos calculated?
Each guest who is coming or maybe coming counts with their appetite (about 350, 450 or 600 g), kids about 250 g. Vegetarians get provoleta and vegetables; guests who skip achuras get none. You can add people who aren't on the list in Shopping.
Can vegetarians skip paying for the meat?
Yes. When adding an expense, keep "Only meat eaters pay" on and they are left out of that split.
How do I close an asado?
At the bottom of the Asado screen tap "Close this asado". It goes to the log with its cuts, rating, photo and notes, and the next asado is set up.
Your data
Where is my data stored? Do I need an account?
Everything stays on your device. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Deleting the app or using Settings → Erase all data removes it.
Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish and Ukrainian, including all 20 guides. The app follows your device language.
